The New Catholic Mass

There are several new responses in the English translation of the Catholic mass. Whereas in the past, the response to the priest saying, "The Lord Be With You," was "And also with you," the new response is: "And with your spirit." While this article can't give the details of all the new catholic mass translation differences, here are just a few of them. This will be of particular interest to catholics who have not been to church for some time.
The Lord Be With You
R: And with your spirit.
This has changed from R: And also with you.
The Gloria and the Creed have changed, but are too long to include in this particular article.
During the preparation of the gifts of Holy Communion, there are several changes.
For example:
1) May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of His name, for our good and for the good of all His Holy Church.
2) Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
3) Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts...
4) Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. R: It is right and just.
Many aspects of the mass remain the same or almost the same. However, there are several subtle changes to the responses and to what the Catholics pray during the mass.
